The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Thank you for considering the Journal of Medical and Oral Biosciences for the publication of your research. To ensure smooth processing of your manuscript, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Manuscript Preparation:
Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
Use Times New Roman font, size 12, and double-spaced lines throughout the manuscript.
Include line numbers for ease of review.
Margins should be set to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
2. Manuscript Structure:
Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, authors' names and affiliations, corresponding author's contact information (including email address), and any acknowledgments.
Abstract: Provide an abstract of up to 250 words, including background, methods, results, and conclusions.
Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords or phrases that best describe the content of the manuscript.
Introduction: Clearly state the purpose of the study and provide relevant background information.
Methods: Describe the study design, materials, and methods used in sufficient detail to allow replication.
Results: Present the findings of the study in a logical sequence using tables, figures, and graphs as necessary.
Discussion: Interpret the results, compare them with existing literature, and discuss their implications.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings of the study and their significance.

Competing interests statement The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest. 2. Ethics statement The authors confirm that the ethical policies of the journal, as noted on the journal’s author guidelines page, have adhered to. Author contributions Author contribution should be mentioned for each author such as : Author 1 provided the concepts, data analysis, and writing of the manuscript; Author 2 worked with data collection and analysis; Author 3 worked with data collection and analysis; Author 4 revised the manuscript and analyzed the data. 4. Acknowledgments Acknowledgments should acknowledge sources of support, grants, disclaimers, and individuals who contributed but are not listed as authors. Funding organizations should be mentioned in full. Remember to express gratitude for comments from reviewers and editors during the revision process, including those provided on previous drafts submitted to other journals.
References: List all references cited in the manuscript in alphabetical order following a standardized citation format.
3. Citation and Referencing:
Use the National Library of Medicine (NLM) citation style for references.
Number citations consecutively in the order in which they appear in the text, using Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets (e.g., [1]).
List all references numerically in the reference list at the end of the manuscript.
Provide complete bibliographic information for each reference, including authors' names, title of the article, journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, and publication year.

Names are listed as last, first initial and middle initial with no periods
Separate author names using a comma and a space.
